Clipped Endless Belt Supply

Quality Clipped Endless Belt Solutions

Pre-Clipped Endless Belts- Supplied Ready to Fit

At N E Vulcanising Ltd, we supply and install clipped endless conveyor belts for businesses across the UK. Also known as mechanically fastened conveyor belts, they provide a reliable alternative to vulcanised joints where access, belt condition or future maintenance requirements make mechanical fastening the preferred option.

With over 100,000 metres of conveyor belt in stock, we can supply a wide range of belt types and specifications to suit different conveyor systems. Whether you require a complete supply and fitting service or a finished belt ready for your own maintenance team to install, we can provide a reliable solution to keep your conveyor operating efficiently.

What Are Clipped Endless Conveyor Belts?

Clipped endless belts are conveyor belts joined using mechanical fasteners to create a continuous loop ready for installation. Unlike vulcanised belts, they do not require heat presses, adhesives or curing time, making them a practical option where a mechanical connection is more suitable.

They are often used where:

  • The existing belt is too damaged or worn for hot or cold vulcanising.
  • Access prevents the use of vulcanising equipment.
  • Future belt removal, inspection or cleaning needs to be straightforward.
  • The conveyor design requires a removable belt connection.
  • Minimal disruption during belt replacement is important.

At N E Vulcanising Ltd, we supply clipped endless belts with different fastening systems depending on the belt type, thickness and operating conditions.

Rivet Hinge Fasteners

Rivet hinge fasteners are designed for stronger, heavier-duty conveyor belt applications where a secure and durable mechanical connection is required.

They are ideal for:

  • Thicker rubber conveyor belts.
  • Heavy-duty conveying applications.
  • Systems where future belt access and maintenance are important.
  • Applications requiring increased pull-out resistance.
  • Magnetic conveyors or corrosive environments where stainless steel fasteners are required.

Rivet hinge fasteners provide a strong connection by securing through the belt carcass without damaging the internal fibres, helping maintain the belt’s structural strength. The hinged design allows easier belt removal for inspection or maintenance, while the low-profile construction helps reduce interference with belt cleaners, scrapers and other conveyor components.

For conveyors carrying fine materials such as sand, these can provide a tighter connection to help reduce material loss through the joint.

Staple Fasteners

Staple fasteners provide a practical, low-profile solution for thinner conveyor belts, particularly PVC and solid woven PVG/PVC belting. They are designed for applications where a smaller mechanical fastener is more suitable than a larger rivet hinge system.

They are ideal for:

  • Thin PVC and PVG conveyor belts.
  • Lighter-duty conveyor applications.
  • Systems where a low-profile belt connection is required.
  • Conveyors where larger fasteners would be too cumbersome.

Staple fasteners provide a smooth, reliable belt connection that works well with conveyor components such as scrapers and cleaners. Their preset design allows consistent installation, while steel and stainless steel options provide dependable performance across different environments.
