Clipped Endless Belt Supply

Quality Clipped Endless Belt Solutions

No Press. No Cure Time. No Waiting.

N E Vulcanising supplies clipped endless conveyor belts across the UK, prepared to your required width, endless length and specification. We select and fit the mechanical fasteners in our workshop, so your maintenance team receives a belt ready for installation.

There’s no on-site vulcanising or curing time to allow for. You can plan the fitting around production, with a belt prepared by experienced conveyor belt engineers. If you need us to handle the installation, we can do that too.

When A Vulcanised Joint Isn’t The Best Answer

A vulcanised joint is not always the most practical choice. Where fitting access, future belt removal or your maintenance arrangements favour a mechanical connection, clipped endless supply can make the job more straightforward.

It is particularly useful when:

  • Your own team is fitting the belt The clips are already fitted, so there’s no need to arrange a vulcanising press, jointing materials or fastener application equipment.
  • Access for on-site vulcanising is restricted The belt can be fed through the conveyor and mechanically joined in position, without needing space for a press at the joint.
  • The belt needs to come off again A removable hinge pin allows the joint to be opened for cleaning, inspection or access to conveyor components.
  • Fitting has to work around production Joint preparation is completed before the belt reaches site, and there is no curing time to build into the installation.

We’ll check that mechanical fastening suits the conveyor and its duty. Belt tension, scraper arrangements and the need to contain fine materials all influence that decision.

The Right Fastener For The Working Conditions

We match your mechanical belt fasteners to the belt construction, thickness and fastener rating, then check the operating tension, smallest pulley diameter and cleaner compatibility.

The material being carried and exposure to abrasion, moisture or corrosion also matter. Those details determine which fastening system, size and metal type we recommend.

Rivet Hinge Fasteners

A strong hold for heavier conveying duties.

Rivet hinged systems suit many rubber-plied conveyor belts and demanding applications where resistance to pull-out is a priority.

Benefits Of Using Rivet Hinge Fasteners:

  • Secure attachment under load. Multiple rivets distribute the fixing points across the joint, providing strong resistance to pull-out.
  • Protection for the belt carcass. Self-setting rivet designs allow the rivets to pass between the carcass fibres without severing them.
  • A lower profile around conveyor components. Suitable low-profile designs reduce the fastener’s exposure to compatible scrapers, cleaners and return rollers.
  • Material options for the application. Steel and suitable stainless steel grades allow for different wear, corrosion and magnetic requirements.

Rivet hinge fasteners provide a strong connection by securing through the belt carcass without damaging the internal fibres, helping maintain the belt’s structural strength.

The hinged design allows easier belt removal for inspection or maintenance, while the low-profile construction helps reduce interference with belt cleaners, scrapers and other conveyor components.

For conveyors carrying fine materials such as sand, these can provide a tighter connection to help reduce material loss through the joint.

Staple Fasteners

A compact joint, matched to the belt’s duty.

Staple fasteners cover a range of applications, from thinner belts on lighter conveyors to dedicated systems for heavier solid woven PVC/PVG belting.

Benefits Of Using Staple Fasteners:

  • Less bulk on thinner belts. Smaller staple systems provide a compact connection suited to lighter belt constructions.
  • Options for smaller pulleys. Lighter-duty designs can accommodate smaller pulley diameters, within the selected fastener’s limits.
  • A smooth, low-profile finish. The joint is designed to pass beneath compatible cleaners and around conveyor components with reduced interference, where larger fasteners would be too cumbersome.
  • Consistent installation. Pre-set staples and dedicated application tooling help achieve accurate positioning and an even finish across the belt.

Staple fasteners provide a smooth, reliable belt connection that works well with conveyor components such as scrapers and cleaners. Their preset design allows consistent installation, while steel and stainless steel options provide dependable performance across different environments.

We select the staple system for the belt strength and operating conditions, including heavier-duty options where the application requires them.

Clipped. Cut. Ready To Fit.

Your belt is prepared by a team that also fits and vulcanises belts on site, across mobile plant and fixed conveyors. We bring that experience to your order, from the choice of belt and fastener to the finished joint.

With over 100,000 metres of conveyor belting in stock, we offer a wide choice of belting, cut and clipped to the agreed specification.

Order for a planned belt change or keep a clipped endless spare in your stores. Your team has the belt prepared in advance, with the cutting, end preparation and fastener fitting already taken care of.

Already Have the Belt? We Can Clip It.

We also prepare and clip customer-supplied conveyor belting. We’ll check its specification and condition, confirm the required endless length and fit the appropriate mechanical fasteners.

Prefer Us to Fit It?

Most clipped endless belts are supplied for customers to install themselves. If you would like us to complete the fitting, our engineers can remove the existing belt, install the replacement and carry out the final tension and tracking checks.
