Harvest windows, grain intake, feed schedules and load-out programmes leave little room for belt trouble.
Whether it is a round baler stopped in the field, an elevator holding up intake or a conveyor failure at the feed mill, you need the right belt and a team that can get it fitted.
N E Vulcanising supports farms, agricultural contractors, grain stores, feed mills, agricultural merchants, root-crop growers, seed and fertiliser plants and biomass operations with belt supply, on-site fitting and repairs.
We support the machinery & conveyor systems used to move, process and load agricultural materials.
Sector Applications
- Grain & Seed: Intake, horizontal and transfer conveyors, bucket elevators and load-out systems.
- Root Crops: Harvester, crop elevator, grading, washing, sorting and packing belts.
- Animal Feed: Conveyors serving pellet mills, mixers, diet feeders and bagging plants.
- Fertiliser: Intake, storage, transfer and load-out conveyors handling corrosive granular products.
- Biomass & Wood Chip: Heavy-duty belting for irregular, fibrous and abrasive material.
- Agricultural Machinery: Round baler, pick-up, draper header and swather belts.
The belt needs to suit what it is carrying and where it is running.
That may mean smooth PVC or food-grade belting for grain and seed, nitrile or oil-resistant compounds around animal feed, chemical-resistant belting for fertiliser, or abrasion-resistant and rip-stop rubber for biomass and heavier duties.
Rough-top, chevron, cleated and flighted belts are also available where grip, incline or controlled movement matters.
We account for the material, loading, belt speed, pulley diameters, cleaning requirements and jointing method before preparing the replacement.
For recognised agricultural machinery, the make, model and belt position are usually enough for us to establish what is required.
We can identify, prepare, join, fit and repair round baler belts, whether one has failed or the machine needs a complete set.
The work can be completed at the farm or depot, with the correct belting, fasteners, tools and equipment brought to the machine. You are not left sourcing a belt from one company and finding somebody else to fit it.
We can carry out complete bucket-elevator belt changes, including removing the old belt, stripping and retaining suitable buckets, installing and joining the replacement, then refitting the buckets in the correct positions.
The labour, lifting equipment and vulcanising kit come with us. Access, belt weight and bucket numbers are considered beforehand so the job can be completed within the available shutdown.
The same planned approach applies across grain intake, transfer and load-out conveyors, where several belts may need attention before the season starts.
Many farms and agricultural contractors run mobile crushers and screeners to process site-won stone or recycled concrete for tracks, yards and hardstandings.
We can replace feed, product, stacker and magnetic-separator belts, then deal with tracking faults, damaged rollers, bearings or skirts during the same visit.
A sound belt with local joint, edge or surface damage may be repairable.
Widespread carcass damage, stretching or repeated failures may make replacement the better use of your money.
We assess the whole belt and any underlying tracking or component fault before recommending the most practical, cost-effective option.
We work around harvest, production and maintenance windows, including evenings, nights and weekends.
Our engineers are also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for breakdowns.
Based in Stoke-on-Trent with fast access to the main road network, we cover the Midlands and travel nationwide.
We hold 100,000+ metres of conveyor belting, in widths from 500mm to 2,600mm.
That stock allows many replacements to be cut and prepared without beginning every job with a manufacturer’s lead time.
Our conveyor experience goes back to 1986. Our engineers bring their own generators, mobile presses and lifting equipment, and are competent in working at height, harness use, lifting operations, forklift work and MEWP operation.
On fixed grain, feed and processing systems, a survey can pick up worn joints, belt damage, tracking faults, tired lagging and failing rollers before they become a breakdown.
We record each belt, identify what needs doing now and what can be planned, and help you hold the right spares.
That means less emergency downtime, fewer rushed decisions and better use of your maintenance budget.
From baler belts and bucket elevators to grain intake, crop handling and load-out, we can support the belting across your agricultural operation.
Whether it is planned work or an urgent breakdown, we will help you get it sorted.
ANY CONVEYOR. ANY BELT.
